The path of Marie-Annick NICOLAS is inusual and she has won a spectacular number of awards.

Born in France in 1956, she won a First Price at the Paris Conservatory at the age of 13 and then the most prestigious international competitions.

Noticed byDavid OISTRAKH, she studied at the Tchaïkowsky Conservatory inMoscow, with Boris Bielinki, and became afterwards assistant at the famous "Bloomington School of Music" (Indiana University),where she had been invited by Franco Gulli.
